Iosco Idol Audition Rules
2012
1. All contestants must be at least 18 years of age.
2. All ties will be decided by a sing off.
3. There will be a panel of 3 judges grading each singer on six categories.
4. All judges’ decisions are final.
5. We reserve the right to replace you with another contestant in case of elimination at our discretion based on previous judges score.
Categories You Will Be Judged On
1. STAGE PRESENCE – How comfortable did you seem on the stage? Were you looking at the ceiling or down at the floor the whole time?
2. AUDIENCE INTERACTION – Were they paying attention to you?
3. VOCAL PITCH – Did you sound like the person whose song you were doing?
4. VOCAL RHYTHM – How well did you keep time?
5. KNOWLEDGE OF MATERIAL – Did you know the song you were singing?
6. AUDIENCE REACTION – Did they get into it and clap when you were done

The Eighth Annual
“Iosco Idol Finals”
1. All contestants must be at least 18 years of age.
2. The finals will begin on February 10th and run for 8 weeks thru March 30th at The AuSable Inn Oscoda, MI.
3. The check in time will be 8:00pm every Friday and begin approximately 9:00pm.
4. Contestants with the lowest score will be eliminated each week. The remaining contestants will advance until the final night on March 30th for the $3,000 cash prize.
5.All ties will be decided by a sing off.
6. Each contestant is required to compete every week during the finals until they have been eliminated.
7. There will be a panel of 3 judges grading each singer on six categories.
8.All judges' decisions are final. If you are not here by 8:00 check in time you will be eliminated unless you have called in with a valid mitigating circumstance.

10.Round 7 will be a mandatory group song, which will be practiced on Thursday before the round. If the contestant does not show up for this, he/she will be disqualified. You will also sing a song of your choice that night.
11. All contestants MUST be here each Friday by 8:00pm or you will be disqualified.
